Robert Peterson, MA, NCC has attained certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC). Currently, in private practice, Robert joins more than 30,000 NCCs who are certified through the NBCC.

The NBCC, located in Greensboro, NC, is the largest national counselor credentialing organization in the United States. National certification promotes professional accountability and ensures that consumers' rights are protected through the NBCC Code of Ethics. As a desinated NCC, Robert has fulfilled the requirements for the NCC credential. Those requirenments include a graduate degree in counseling from a regionally accredidted insitution, supervised post-master's counseling experince, and a passing score on the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification (NCE).
